Recently when I was waiting in line to check in, I observed a smiling agent come out from the back, walk toward the counter, and say, “I’d love to take care of our next guest.” It sounded so sincere and caring that I thought I might share it with you. I personally do not like hearing, “Next?” I also understand that when you are busy and guests are lining up to be taken care of, nobody wants to hear, “Good afternoon. How are you doing today? Did you have a good flight?”  Guests want you to hustle, get to them ASAP, and get on with their life.
